The Christmas Wonder giveaway hop

Celebrate the Wonder of the Season!
Visit all of the blogs to see what they love most about the season and which books have made their Christmas wish lists! There's a giveaway at each stop so be sure to visit them all!

The Christmas Wonder giveaway hop begins Dec 1st and ends Dec 31st. What do I like most about the holidays? Since my oldest child is at college, I love having her home. I also like being able to see family, being in really good spirits, watching the first snowfall, checking out the decorations while driving around and inside store windows, baking cookies and celebrating winter. I also like choosing gifts for loved ones and wrapping presents. There's something about the smell of a fresh Christmas tree-the smell of evergreen-mixing with the smells of baking that puts me in a great mood.

As for books, I don't have one particular favorite, I like to spread the holiday love around. With movies, my family and I always watch A Christmas Story. My favorite all-time holiday flick is the classic It's A Wonderful Life and I love seeing A Christmas Carol, the Harry Potter movies and a handful of others.

Here are some books I'm looking forward to reading in 2015:

Ari Marmell's Widdershins is one of my ultimate favorite YA fantasy series. It will be sad to say goodbye in Covenant's End. I LOVED the Vampire Empire series by the Griffiths and so anticipate their new series, Crown & Key.

Wicked and The Return by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I know Wicked is coming out in December but with this season being so busy I'm afraid I may not be able to read it until January. The Return comes out in February. JLA has quickly become a favorite author.

I loved The Winner's Curse and can't wait to sink my eyes into The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski. I also fell in love with the cover of Wolves of the Northern Rift by Jon Messenger. Wow! I'm also waiting to read the next installment in the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian. There are more but these are my top choices.

As for our giveaway, I will give one winner eBook copies of three of my anthologies: Lacing Shadows (New Adult paranormal romance); Beginnings (YA fantasy) and Stalkers (New Adult paranormal). The winner chooses the format they want (epub, mobi, or pdf). My giveaway is open internationally.

  2. Just all of the rituals that my family does together during the holidays. I miss the whole family getting together like we used to, so I try to hold on to what we still do have.

  11. My favorite thing about Christmas is watching the little kids opening their presents. I love seeing the children and their bright eyes, their big smiles and listening to all the giggling that goes on as they open their gifts from Santa.
